Creating a Nest in Elbow Valley
Why they came
This Elbow Valley home was tired when we first met. Though the bones of the home were good, however, many of the finishings were not holding up to the test of time. Worn carpets, burgundy countertops and mirrored vanities in the ensuite were just a few of the things that we were tasked to modernize.
How We Helped
- Allowed the Rocky Mountain view to shine by installing fresh new energy-efficient windows with white casings.
- Updated lighting throughout the home.
- Replaced the tired grey carpet with gorgeous wide plank Scandinavian-style flooring.
- Installed custom millwork in the bathrooms and laundry room.
- Re-upholstered the dining room chairs with modern, feminine fabric.
- Freshened the home with off-white paint and textural details galore.
- Added privacy between the primary suite and the glamorous ensuite.
- No more mirrored vanities! Now a custom side-by-side dual vanity allows the couple to get ready together without peeking around a mirror to chat.
- Updated the tiled tub with a sculptural freestanding tub
- Removed the space hogging, closed off corner shower with a generously sized steam shower.
- Installed a fantasy walk-in fantasy closet for two.
