Why they came
This family wanted a downtown escape, and we were happy to oblige, adding many beautiful details to this executive Calgary penthouse by the Bow River. This is how you do cozy luxury! Who says cozy can’t be luxurious? Not us.
How We Helped
- Wall-hung cabinets,
- Modern lamps soften the light in the space.
- A gorgeous Moooi light over the kitchen island adds a touch of whimsey and interest to the dark pre-existing kitchen.
- We added exquisite custom furniture that we wrapped in cozy and rich textural velvets and luxurious mohair.
- Throughout the space we added geometric and natural shapes like the river stone shaped ottomans.
- A large custom rug grounds, lightens and warms the space.
- We updated the fireplace hearth with a spectacular light onyx fireplace with exquisite veining. The previous hearth stopped the eye at the midpoint. It needed to be the focal point fireplaces are meant to be.
