CFB Currie Renovation

When we met this charming globetrotting family they had just purchased their new home in Calgary after a work transfer. They loved their new neighbourhood and the proximity to schools, but the house needed help to fix a cramped and dreary back hall, a chilly and drafty basement and not enough light. This Canadian home renovation was carefully crafted with Scandinavian simplicity in mind.

With 6 people in the family we needed to add a main floor bathroom somehow! Some houses are a particularly complex challenge to re-design, and this was one of them. Though small, this powder room is mighty! It still has storage in its slim vanity.

We’re proud to have checked off the whole list of requirements our homeowners gave us with great style. In fact, they liked us so much we did a second renovation for them less than a year later in another area. We’d say this Canadian home renovation as a complete success!
