Why they came
Family movie nights or date night by the fire? Both! When we met this family, they were split into different rooms of the house as the living room was dark and depressing. After listening intently to understand their goals, we began our interior design adventure! Executive home renovations are always very detailed, but the goal is always the same – create a space for connection.
How We Helped
- Modernized the wood-burning fireplace with a gas fireplace with a full slab polished stone hearth.
Opened up the living room to the kitchen by reworking the awkward island.
Reclaimed unused lower level closet space by installing a showpiece wine cellar.
Added extra luxury to this already large ensuite bath by installing a steam shower with Italian tile, replacing the tiled tub with a squared freestanding tub, painted the vanity millwork, replaced the countertop, and replaced flooring.
We developed a furniture plan for the living room, dining room, and primary bedroom and ordered custom sized furniture at the correct scale for these generously-sized rooms.
Installed beautiful engineered flooring throughout.
Applied fresh white paint to the walls and ceiling beams to soften the rich colour scheme.
