Why they came
This globe-trotting couple needed a home base to refresh their travel-weary spirits and asked for our help to create a restful retreat. Working through email and text, we channeled their vision of warm textures, Scandinavian simplicity, and clean lines.
How We Helped
- Given their busy travel schedules, we outfitted this downtown Calgary condo with everything short of groceries, allowing them to move in with just their suitcases.
- We added a simple custom desk for two snugged against the window allows for mountain view inspiration as they collaborate on creative projects.
- Selected living room furnishings and décor that offer peace and calm with natural elements like a custom wood stump side table, but also colour and personality with pops of yellow and blue throughout.
- Designed a custom upholstered bed to maximize both space and drama is exactly the kind of organic-feeling detail they asked for.
